Byzantine Empire. Empire of Nicaea. John III, 1222-1254. Eleven Gold Hyperpyrons. Of relatively high gold content, these scyphates were struck under one of the wisest of rulers. One of the coins was formerly mounted and most have graffiti. Lot of 11 coins. Otherwise Very Fine or better.
