Apollo 11 Flown Flag, Man's First Landing on the Moon. Apollo 11 flown US Flag originally from the personal collection of Buzz Aldrin and comes with signed COA and provenance. Flag is silk and measures 6 x 4¼" and flew on the first manned lunar landing mission with Astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins in July of 1969. Flag is in perfect condition and has been archived in an acid-free protective sleeve. One of the most desirable flown artifacts of all manned flights, a signature piece of any collection.
Also included is a mint copy of NASA: The Complete Illustrated History by Michael Gorn with forward by Buzz Aldrin and autographed by Buzz Aldrin; a popular edition from Easton Press.
