1804 C-11 R2 Plain 4 with Stems PCGS graded AU53. Very attractive uniform frosty light to medium chocolate brown. Looks great to the unaided eye but a strong glass reveals faint hairline scratches that cover the highpoints on both sides. A dull rim nick right of the forehead and a tiny planchet flake at the rim left of the lowest curl are the other notable marks. EDS, Manley state 1.0, with the wreath and HALF CENT well struck. Our grade is EF40 sharpness net VF30. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 3 finer, 1 in 55, 1 in 58, 1 in 64 for the variety.
