Wally Schirra (1923-2007) Schirra flew into space on Mercury and Apollo programs and this collection of boldly signed 8 x 10" photos touch on those two missions. 1.) Signed image of the mockup capsule used in 50 drop tests to qualify the Mercury capsule for recovery on land and sea. 2.) Signed April 1962 US Air Force Photo, Air Force Missile Test Center, NASA/LOD shot of Schirra during altitude run. (Schirra's name misspelled twice on printed info on verso!) 3.) Signed Official Photo dated 10/21/78 Apollo 7 Earth-Sky View Puna De Atacama area of northwestern Argentina taken from Apollo 7 during its 154th revolution. In stock sleeve attached to verso is the 4 x 5" negative for this photo # AS7-4-1593 4.) Signed Apollo capsule training exercise photo. All four pieces in excellent condition.
