Nixon, Richard & Three Future Republican Presidents: Ford, Reagan, Bush + Members of Nixon's Cabinet & Family. Red cover with white letters for "Press Kit: Young Voters for the President" signed before and/or during the Republican National Convention held Aug. 21-23 in Miami Beach, Florida, where Nixon was nominated for re-election. Richard Nixon signed as President in the center. Three future Republican Presidents were present and signed: Gerald Ford, as House Minority Leader; Ronald Reagan, as Governor of California; and George H.W. Bush, as UN Ambassador. Among other prominent Convention attendees who signed were Cabinet members, presidential advisors, and White House staffers, including: Donald Rumsfeld, Henry Kissinger, Elliott Richardson, Robert Finch, Rogers C.B. Morton, Earl Butz, William & Jill Ruckelshaus, Richard Kleindienst, Jim Hodgson, George Romney, and William "Red" Blount. Other signers were CBS News' Charles Kuralt, Eastern Airlines head and ex-astronaut Frank Borman, and Washington Governor Tom Evans.
The cover is 12 x 8½"; it is matted with 5¾ x 3¾" color images of Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and George H.W. Bush and framed to an overall size of 18½ x 25". Fine condition. An attractive display piece. Estimate $2,000 - 3,000
