1851 N-20 R3 Repunched 1's. NGC graded MS-64 Brown. Lustrous bluish steel and light chocolate with slightly lighter golden brown toning on the reverse. There is a splash of darker toning at star 4 and in the dentils left of star 5, and there is some dark crud in both of these splashes. A small rim nick at the I in AMERICA is the only contact mark. Nicely struck MDS, die state b. The diagonal die lines around the date are gone but the top of the C & E in CENT are not joined by crumbling. The repunching on the 1's is dull but clear. Our grade is net MS60. The attribution is noted on the NGC label.
Estimated Value $300-UP.

Realized $334
