1864-S Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. VF-35. A rare date in decent condition, this coin has lovely surface color and only one rather annoying stray scrape extending from the middle of the shield up to the first A in AMERICA. This scrape is old and toned over, so it doesn't stand out like a beacon, but needs to be mentioned. A few other minor marks are also located on the reverse. Only 20,000 were struck of this date, very few of which remain in high grades like this coin.
