Lot 751

(Paramount) Bing Crosby, James Cagney, and Carole Lombard. 13¾" x 10¾" single-weight, vintage photograph of the three huge stars by Irving Lippman, stamped "May 31 1933" on verso. Another stamp requests credit for Paramount and Lippman. A paper snipe is titled "Bing, Bang And A Lady." Verso also has a stamp and a sticker for Culver Service. With a 13" x 10" single-weight vintage photo of Bing Crosby stamped on verso: "Credit Will Be Appreciated Paramount Photo by William Walling Jr." and "Bing Crosby in Paramount Pictures." Another stamp with penciled-in information shows that the photo was used for August 1935 issue of Motion Picture Magazine, Page 31. A penciled notation says, "Go ahead RUSH"; a penciled number at lower right is "H5803-3-1" and at upper right: "P-1452-330." A vertical stamp has the date "Feb. 14 1938." Both photos in fine condition and encased in mylar for preservation.
