$5 National Bank Note. First NB of Hartford, CT. Ch. 121. Fr. 587. PMG About Unc 55. Chartered in November of 1863, the First NB lasted throughout the entire National Banking era, issuing just over $17 million in notes during that time. This is by far the finest of the five known Red Seals on the bank as well as any large size notes currently known from this institution. A beautiful survivor that looks like it was just printed.
