1804 C-9 R2 PCGS graded AU58, CAC Approved. Looks mint state but this piece was lightly cleaned and retoned a very attractive and natural-looking medium chocolate brown. Otherwise it is nearly flawless and it offers great eye appeal. The only marks are a horizontal nick hidden in the center of the ear and a tiny nick on the rim over the I in LIBERTY. E-MDS, Manley state 2.0. The die cracks at IBERTY are light but visible and overlapping die clashmarks show on the reverse. Weight 85.7 grains. Our grade is AU58 sharpness net AU50. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 4; 3 finer, 2 in 62, 1 in 63 for the variety. Estimate Value $1,000 - UP
