Lot 730
1808/7 C-2 R3 Overdate 8 over 7 G6. Glossy dark olive brown and chocolate. No roughness or verdigris. The only defects are a couple fine, old scratches in the field before the face and another under CEN. These scratches blend perfectly into the natural toning and are not distracting. The date and legends are complete and strong, and the overdate is obvious. EDS, Manley state 1.0, prior to any die cracks on the obverse.
