1846 N-4 R1 Boldly Repunched Date. NGC graded MS-62 Brown. Glossy olive and chocolate brown. Smooth and attractive, just a few microscopic ticks from flawless, none notable. Rare LDS, die state d, with a clearly defined rim cud break below the 184 in the date. A nice example of this die state. Our grade is EF45. Not in the overall condition census for the variety but tied for CC#5 honors among those known with the cud break. The attribution and Reiver provenance are noted on the NGC label.
