1804 C-8 R1 Spiked Chin PCGS graded MS60 Brown. Frosty tan and medium brown blending to light chocolate in some areas. A puff of reddish brown toning at OF can help identify this piece. This piece may have been very lightly cleaned long ago, but the graders at PCGS obviously feel the toning is original. The only contact mark is a tiny, very light scratch on the right top of the T in LIBERTY. MDS, Manley state 3.0, with die cracks at LIBERTY. The Spiked Chin feature is obvious. Our grade is AU58 sharpness net AU50 for the retoning. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
