Typed letter signed "John Kennedy" as U.S. Senator from Massachusetts, one page, on United States Senate letterhead, 10½ x 8", Washington, Aug. 24, 1954. To Mr. Harold Livingston of Haverhill, Mass. "with regard to your further interest in the case of Miss Dongois whom you are desirous of having come to the United States from France….I am today pursuing this matter further with the appropriate authorities, requesting their favorable consideration to same, and you can be sure that when a report is submitted to me, I shall promptly notify you."
