Fine Roman Marble Head of a Young Female, Ca. 2nd Century AD, With Centrally Parted Hair. Expertly restored at neck and tip of nose. Ca. 18th century socle. Ex Earl of Pembroke, Wilton House. Probably acquired in 17th century. "Augusta Faustina Pii Filia" is engraved below. Base from a later period.

Height: 5 in (17.8 cm w/base). Estimate Value $5,000 - UP
Had been on loan to the Museum of World Treasures; Superior Galleries, Fine Antiquities Auction, March 12, 1994, Lot 147.
