1787 New Jersey Maris 48-g Rarity-1 PCGS graded "Genuine". Slightly glossy dark chocolate brown with lighter brown toning on the highest points of the design. The sharpness is nearly mint state but the planchet is covered with tiny planchet striation voids that adversely affect the eye appeal of an otherwise outstanding specimen. No verdigris or contact marks. The date and devices are bold. Our grade is AU55 sharpness net VF30 for the imperfect surfaces.
