MacArthur, Douglas. (1880-1964). American five-star general, Medal of Honor recipient, and Chief of Staff of the U.S. Army, his leadership in the Pacific theater during World War II was integral to the ultimate success of the Allied Powers. Signed photo ("Douglas MacArthur"), black and white, 5¾ x 7¾", n.p., n.d. Signature appears in black ink at bottom center, across the General’s light colored pants. Small pieces of tape at the upper left, upper right, and lower right corners, extending no more than ½" into the photo itself, affect neither the signature nor the overall handsome quality of the photograph. Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA. In very good to fine condition.
