Lot 676

1914 Barber Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded Proof 67. A golden toned head of Liberty floats in a sea of blue-green iridescence. On the reverse, the color is a more uniform blend of pale grey and golden-green toning, every bit as bright as that on the obverse, but with no hint of cameo contrast on the high points. This date is surprisingly difficult to find in high grade -- PCGS reports only 12 in this grade and only 4 finer (all Proof-68) (PCGS # 5700) .
Estimated Value $3,500 - 4,000.

Realized $4,600
