1787 Auctori Plebis Halfpenny Breen-1147 PCGS graded XF40, CAC Approved. Choice glossy steel brown and chocolate with slightly lighter frosty brown toning in protected areas. A premium example. The diameter of the planchet is not sufficient to contain all of the legend on the reverse, as always on these coppers, but the upper two-thirds of the date is present and strong. Comes with a certification signed by Walter Breen. Listed on page 74 in the "Redbook."
