1816 N-7 R3 PCGS graded AU58. Glossy olive brown and dark steel. Satiny mint frost covers the obverse and this cent has excellent eye appeal. The only notable marks are a tiny tick on the cheek right of the mouth and a small planchet chip over the left top of the T in CENT (as struck). MDS. Most of the dentils on the reverse are gone but the left top of the second T in STATES is still visible. Graded AU50 net EF40 by Noyes, his photo #56695. Our grade is EF45+. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. PCGS #36541. Pop 1; 5 graded finer at PCGS for the variety. Estimated Value $450 - UP
