Lot 668

Pair of NGC graded cents, 1835 & 1837. The first is an 1835 N-6 R1 graded XF40. Glossy chocolate brown with some lighter brown tones on both sides. Smooth and problem-free. There is a clear double profile on the portrait. LDS with a series of thin rim cud breaks at F-AMER. Our grade is VF35. The second is 1837 N-9 R1 (Beaded Hair Cord) graded AU53 Brown. Frosty light chocolate and steel brown. Sharply struck and void of any notable defects. EDS. Our grade is EF45. The attribution is noted on both of the NGC grading labels, but they got it wrong on the 1837 by calling it N-10 rather than N-9. Lot of 2 slabbed coins.
Estimated Value $150-UP.

Realized $437
