1845 N-9 R2 NGC graded MS64 Brown, CAC Approved. Frosty medium steel brown and chocolate with 5-10% of the planchet showing faded mint red. Lustrous and choice, void of any defects except for a dull rim nick below the end of the wreath ribbon. M-LDS, die state b, with die cracks on the reverse but no rim cud. Our grade is net AU58+ (but this cent has solid mint state eye appeal). The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the NGC label. NGC population 2, none finer. Estimated Value $500 - UP
