1797 S-121b R3- Reverse of 1796, Gripped Edge F15+. Sharpness near VF25 but there is microscopic roughness under attractive and rather glossy medium brown and light chocolate toning. No verdigris or notable marks. Looks smooth to the unaided eye. LDS, Breen state V, with die cracks and swelling on the obverse. The "Grip" marks on the edge are obvious. A decent example of this popular "Redbook" variety. Value $500 - UP
