Lot 634

1800 LM-1. Rarity-3. PCGS graded MS-63. Well struck, in fact double struck on the reverse, with just a slight shift but enough to show clear doubling on the ribbon motto. Lovely antique gold and russet toning on both sides, with light silver in portions of the fields and on the devices. An important offering as rarely are these early silver coins found in Mint condition, and nicely toned on both sides. This is a later die state with a minor die break seen below the 00 of the date. An impressive coin for the astute collector. Only 40,000 struck. Pop 19; 19 finer at PCGS. (PCGS # 4264) Estimated Value $13,000 - UP

Unsold
