1875, $10 National Bank Note. First NB of Paris, Illinois. PMG Ch. Unc. 64 EPQ. Fr-416. KL-1176. Chartered in 1865, this institution only issued First Charter notes before being liquidated in August 1885. Fortunately for collectors a few uncirculated sheets were discovered and cut years ago, provided both Type and Illinois collectors the opportunity to own an Uncirculated Ten (or Twenty) for this bank. Great pen signatures of William Siebert as Cashier and A(sa) J. Baber as President, as both served together from 1870 until the banks demise. Estimated Value $5,000 - UP
