Lot 613

1824 N-4 R2. NGC graded MS-62 Brown. Very attractive glossy chocolate and olive brown with traces of frosty lighter brown toning faded down from mint color in some of the protected areas on both sides. A flawless cent except for a small patch of very fine crud dusted around the upper half of the 4 in the date. Nicely struck LDS. There are clear die clashmarks on both sides and the crack through star 12 has a small but clear comma-shaped hook extending down from the lower point of the star. Our grade is AU50. The attribution is shown on the NGC label.
Estimated Value $1,500-UP.

Realized $2,185
