1845 N-4 R1 Repunched 5 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Frosty medium brown and tan. Sharply struck and the only marks are a faint spot of fine carbon nestled in the dentils at star 2 and a dull nick hidden on the leaf below T in CENT. MDS, die state c, with fine die cracks on the reverse. The repunching at the top of the 5 is clear. Our grade is MS60, tied for CC#18 in the Grellman census. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 3 finer in 64. Estimated Value $500 - UP
