1799 S-189 R2 Fair-2. Glossy chocolate brown and steel with lighter steel brown toning on the highpoints from a delicate cleaning. The planchet is smooth and shows only trivial defects, a dull vertical nick in the field behind the head being the best identifying mark. Basically just heavily worn. The upper half of the date is clear but the lower half is worn into the rim. LIBERTY and nearly all of the reverse are worn away. A budget-level 1799 cent.
