1883 Shield Nickel. 3 over 2. NGC graded MS-62. A few light hairlines and slight dullness in the color, but still lustrous overall. Scarce in mint state, the overdate is quite plain with a glass, and the die shows numerous cracks from use. The final year of issue for the Shield design.
