1803 S-243 R2 Stemless Wreath & Doubled Fraction Bar PCGS graded VF30. Attractive glossy medium chocolate brown. No corrosion or verdigris, only small contact marks. The notable ones are a small dig at the right top of the 3 in the date, a pair of dull nicks just right of the D in UNITED, and a short scratch from the second T in STATES to the leaf tip below. Terminal Die State, Breen state V, with cud breaks at TY extending to the right to opposite the tip of the nose. Our grade is VF25 sharpness net VF20+. The attribution and Reed-McCawley-Ellsworth provenance are noted on the PCGS label.
