Dale Evans - Original Comic Book Art Signed Twice. Original art for a comic book titled "Dale Evans and Danger in Crooked Canyon," signed and inscribed, "To Ed & Jo God bless your trail! Dale Evans Rogers" in the border above the artwork, 13½x20" plus borders, and on the title page of the comic book (framed to show on the back of the artwork), "God bless you, Dale Evans." Gouache and acrylic on artist board; created for Whitman Publishing Company and signed by artist Al Andersen, the art was due on 5-26-58. The vividly-colored scene shows Dale Evans as a prisoner in an Indian hogan, her hands bound behind her; a young Indian boy reacts in fright as an elderly woman enters. Fine condition; framed to an overall size of 24x31".
