Jonathan Beyuka (J. Beyuka) Celebrated Zuni Jeweler, Spectacular Sterling Silver Inlay Zuni Indian Drummer. J. Beyuka jewelry is recognized as one of the most creative in designing and executing bolo tie imagery. This oversized Zuni drummer design is an excellent example of Beyuka's craftsmanship far exceeding the norm in the use and variety of stones and mother of pearl shells chosen. His pieces are prized for their attention to detail, colors and texture. This is the largest piece we have seen by Beyuka and it measuring 9½ x 4½" on a braided leather cord with Bennett style back clasp (clasp is of nickle for durability), sterling silver tips with Zuni style charms. On reverse of drummer is etched "J. Beyuka, Zuni, N.M". on verso and with a total gross weight of 6½ ozt. This is quite the vintage signature piece and in perfect condition, appearing never to have been worn but only displayed. Estimate Value $750 - UP
