Count Felix von Luckner. Two 8 x 10 in. negatives, accompanied by a positive copy of each (a positive copy is basically a xerox copy made with the sole purpose of showing what the negative images look like; photographic prints can be made from the negatives). Count Felix von Luckner (1881-1966) was a German nobleman, navy officer, author and noted sailor who earned the epithet "Der Seeteufel" (the Sea-Devil) for his exploits in command of the sailing commerce raider SMS Seeadler (Sea Eagle) in 1916-1917. It was his habit of successfully waging war without any casualties that made him a hero and a legend on both sides. After the war, he went on a good-will mission around the world and was an entertaining speaker, gaining much goodwill in the U.S.
