Likely the best item is a very rare First Day Cover dated Oct. 31, 1944 Hollywood Station with a full color 50 YEARS OF MOTION PICTURES 1894-1944 cachet that is brilliantly illustrated. Cover is signed by Katherine Hepburn in steady hand in blue fountain pen ink. Also included in this collection is a 1967 First Day Cover for Davy Crockett signed by actor Fess Parker in San Antonio, the cover commemorating the Alamo and American Folklore Series. Finally First Day Cover for the Douglas Fairbanks commemorative 20¢ stamp and cover signed by Douglas Fairbanks Jr. very much a star of his own making.
Collection also includes photos (from 3 x 5" to 8 x 10") signed by Kirk Douglas, Bette Davis, Charlton Heston, Dustin Hoffman, Cesar Romero, Benny Hill, Shelley Winters, Ruth Gordon, Ed Asner, Fred MacMurray, Zsa Zsa Gabor, a fantastic 8 x 10" of Michael Landon, Eve Arden, Ali Magraw (3 x 5" card).
