1989 World Series, "Battle of the Bay", Unused 3-Blocks of Tickets, Unused Tickets for National League Championship, Buttons, Badges Pins. The 1989 World Series proved a terrifying experience for thousands in Candlestick Park during Game 3 when the Loma Prieta earthquake hit prior to the start of the game. A 10 day delay ultimately gave Oakland a Series win in a four game sweep. A fan assembled display (all items are loose, no glue or tape) has a great number of unused tickets and three used tickets. Unused three-block of World Series tickets (games 3, 4, and 5 pristine). There are three used tickets World Series tickets: one game three (having a small corner tear at perforation) and two from game 4. Finally there are three sets of used National League Championship tickets (Giants VS Eastern Division) for games 3, 4 and 5 that were very carefully separated at the gate.

Also two limited edition oversized team photo-buttons one for the Athletics (#100!), the other the Giants (#4120) plus 24 buttons, pins, badges and earrings from this Series. The condition of these pieces are all superior. Estimated Value $250 - UP
