Exquisite Pair of Art Nouveau Steuben, Carder Era, Decorated Aurene Glass Vases ca. 1910. Steuben Glass proved one of the foremost art glass manfacturerers in American history. It was founded in 1903 by Frderick Carder and Thomas Hawks in Corning, New York which is Steuben County, from which the name of the company was derived. Carder proved the consummate artist in design and glass and pieces from his era (1903 - 1930) are in great demand by collectors worldwide. This pair of "Aurene" glass vases were made ca. 1910. Both are scratched under their base "Steuben Aurene 6300" the number referencing their shape. 10 x 4" tall and in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Beautiful pieces.
