USA Model 1902 Army Officer's Dress Saber. A ca. WW I issue with an overall length of 34.5 inches having a nickel plated etched and decorated blade, basket and backstrap with brown wood or composite grip. Marked "Spartan Trade Mark Proved" within a hexagon on the ricasso. There are a few minor nicks on the blade but otherwise the sword and its nickel plated scabbard are in excellent condition.
