1828 C-2 R1 12-Star Obverse. PCGS graded MS-63 Brown. CAC. Lustrous light chocolate and medium brown with bluish steel toning in some of the protected areas. Tiny peeps of faded mint red can be found in some of the protected areas on the obverse. No spots or stains and the best identifying mark is a tiny, very dull nick on star 1 (visible only with a strong glass). This half cent has excellent eye appeal. MDS, Manley state 2.0, with faint die clashmarks inside the wreath. Our grade is MS60+. The attribution and Widok Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 2 finer: 1 in 64, 1 in 65. (PCGS # 35264) Value $2,000 - UP
