1844 N-1 R1 PCGS graded MS63 Brown, CAC Approved. Frosty golden tan and light brown. There are a few small ticks at the nostril and a bit of darker brown toning at the dentil tips over star 5. MDS, die state c, with narrow rim cud breaks at the bottom of the obverse and a faint die crack connecting stars 9 & 10. The repunching on either side of the base of the 1 is still visible. Looks mint state but there is a hint of rub on the very highest points of the devices. Our grade is AU58. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 4; 4 finer in 64. Estimated Value $800 - UP
