1852 N-20 R4 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Frosty medium steel brown and light chocolate. Peeps of very faded mint red can be found on both sides and this cent has excellent eye appeal. No spots, stains, or contact marks. The only defects are some weakness of strike in the dentils under the 1 and a small planchet flake on the rim over ES in STATES, both defects as struck. Rare LDS, die state c, with rim cud breaks at stars 8 and 11, and the cud breaks are strong. Our grade is MS60, CC#2 for the variety and finest of the late die state in the Grellman census. A very important piece for the collector of late date cents by variety or die state. Estimate Value $1,250 - UP
