1880. NGC graded Proof 66 Cameo. A proof only date. This is a fully white coin with amazing details and near flawless watery surfaces. With a modest mintage struck at the time, gems are of course scarce today. Only the top five to ten percent remain at the gem level or finer today, and this is one of the nicest. Add to this the Cameo contrast and you have a winning hand. Only 1,987 struck. Pop 29; 31 examples graded higher at NGC in Cameo and Ultra Cameo. Estimate Value $9,500 - 10,000
