Bogart, Humphrey & Bacall, Lauren. Part of a page from a hotel guest-book register Signed "Lauren Bacall" in blue ink, with the date, "April 19 '51" and "Hollywood, California" also in her hand. Bogart signed "Humphrey Bogart" under Bacall's name (the ink is dark brown now), 2½"x9". Very good; there is a great deal of show-through from glue on the verso, affecting Bacall's signature more than Bogart's very bold one. The page was signed during the filming of The African Queen, which co-starred Bogart with Katharine Hepburn. Matted with a photograph of Bogart and Bacall relaxing on the set; framed to an overall size of 21"x15".
