Lot 48

1803 C-2 R4 VG7+. Slightly sharper but there are some very fine vertical hairline scratches on the portrait, another scratch from the shoulder to the bust, and some more in the field before the mouth. The eye appeal is nice for the grade in spite of the minor marks. Lightly cleaned and retoned glossy mix of light steel brown and chocolate blending to darker chocolate brown in some areas on the reverse. EDS, Manley state 1.0, before any visible die cracks on the reverse. The date is bold and the legends are clear. Estimate Value $200 - UP
