Collection of Gaudy Dutch Single Rose Pattern, Teapot, Waste Bowl & Dish ca. 1820. Gaudy Dutch pottery was made in England for the American market from about 1810 to 1820. It is a white earthenware with Imari-style decorations of red, blue, green, yellow, and black inspired by Japanese Imari Pottery. Only sixteen patterns of Gaudy Dutch were made. Offered are three exceptional pieces in the "Single Rose" pattern. First a teapot in very good to fine condition. No cracks or repairs and just a very few small flecks within floral motif, and flea bites on lip of pot. 6¼ x 9½ x 4½". Shallow dish 1" x 7¼ x 7¼ and virtually flawless. Finally a waste bowl for teapot 3½ x 6¼ x 6¼" in overall very good to fine condition with no cracks or repairs and only the most minor of flecks and a scratch or two.
