Apollo 18 (c1973). "Lunar Module LM-13" Protective Foil (professionally matted and framed to 13.5x16.5") as presented to projected Apollo 18 Mission Commander Richard Gordon in 2003 on the occassion of the Apollo 18 Lunar Module being placed on exhibition at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City, New York. Four different pieces of the Kapton/Foil from the descent stage of the Lunar Module, recovered during restoration from the descent stage prior to display of the LM, are displayed against a background photo of the crater "Copernicus," one of the proposed landing sites of Apollo 18.
