Lot 475

1833 Braided Hair Cent. . N-5. PCGS graded MS-64 Brown and Del Bland graded MS-60. Attractive medium dark steel and light brown with faint traces of faded mint red, the obverse slightly iridescent. Perfect surfaces except for a fine nick on back of the face. A common variety but very pretty.
The fine mark on Liberty's face is near the curl before her ear, and is very faint, but we do note a spot on the U of UNITED. Common, but desirable for the color and surfaces.
Estimated Value $350 - 500.
Ex: James G. Macallister 2/20/45 as "About Unc." at $4.

Realized $437
