1843 N-15 R2+ Petite Head, Small Ltrs PCGS graded MS64 Brown, CAC Approved. Lustrous light olive and steel brown with 5% of the obverse and 35% of the reverse showing mint red. The only defects are some tiny spots of slightly darker toning scattered over both sides, none significant or distracting. A very thin vertical scratch right of star 5 and a couple tiny ticks on the chin are the notable contact marks. MDS, die state b. The fields are flowlined and the fine die line at the right top of the N in ONE is gone. Our grade is MS62+, CC#2 in the Grellman census. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 4; 2 finer: 1 in 65, 1 in 66+. Estimated Value $2,500 - UP
