1830 Braided Hair Cent. Large letters. . N-7. Del Bland graded VF-30. With some blunt striking as usually seen for this variety. Sharper by five points with pleasing surfaces even though faint hairline scratches are visible under magnification opposite the chin and nose and above ONE, none of these visible to the unaided eye. Between stars eight and nine is a small nick and between stars nine and ten is a group of tiny abrasions. Medium light steel brown. Tied with several others for fourth finest.
