Vespasian, 69-79 AD. AR Denarius, struck 72-73 AD. Laureate head of Vespasian right. Reverse: Simpulum, sprinkler, jug, and lituus. RIC 42; BMCRE 64. Good portrait, handsome coin. With lightly iridescent old collection toning. Very Fine plus, the reverse better.
