Six Pages From Holinshed's Chronicles, c.1577. 11x7¾", five with woodcut illustrations. Two pages are headed "The Historie of Englande; one is numbered "69" on one side and "70" on the other; the second page has "150" on both sides. One page is headed "Henry the fifth 1191" on one side and "Henrie the fifth 1192" on the other. Another page has "Henrie the fifth" on both sides, with "1205" on one and "1206" on the other. The fifth page has "Henrie the seuenth" and the date "1453" on one side; the other side has "Henrie the seauenth" and the date "1454." The sixth page has "Queene Mary" on both sides and the dates 1729 and 1730. Overall toning; light soiling; light stain at bottom of one page.
